The Fastest Growing Jobs

Many of us are faced with having to find a new career path.  Unemployment and the economic crisis have made job security a thing of the past.  Today’s world requires us to being willing to change, to grow, to learn and to find new jobs.  Few of us are immune to the struggling economy.  Even those in their 30’s, 40’s and 50’s are finding that they have to start over in a new career path. 

Where do you start?  How do you figure out what career path to follow?  What jobs are going to offer any kind of future stability?  These are the questions we are all faced with in today’s economy.

Research shows the following careers to be among the fastest growing (increasing numbers of openings) as well as the top in offering stability and long term employment.  Some of the jobs listed require a degree or certification, but all are attainable.

Some of these jobs do not require any formal degree but may require specific training courses.  All of these jobs offer increasing openings and good salaries as well as stability. 

If you have a degree in another field but find an interest in any of the above careers it is possible to apply using the degree you already have.  If you do not yet have a degree or certification, be aware that there is financial aid as well as student loans and scholarships available to assist with paying for your education.  Technology has even made it possible to earn a degree or certification online from the comfort of your living room!  Don’t ever think that you cannot continue your education, if there is a will, there is a way!

Don’t be afraid to try a new career path! The only constant in life is change and we must be willing to embrace it and grow or we risk being left in the dust.  Open your mind to the endless possibilities that exist when it comes to new career paths and jobs.  Being unwilling to venture outside of your comfort zone can be the single biggest barrier you will ever face.  You must be open to new types of jobs and careers.  You must be flexible when faced with having to change career paths. 

The economy is tough, but that does not mean that there are no jobs available.  It simply means that you need to expand the job categories in which you are seeking a career.  You can be and do anything you desire, you just have to want it, prepare for it, and go for it!  There are jobs out there, expand your search and opportunities will show themselves.
