Spend Less Money
If your looking to keep more money in your bank account then the #1 way to do it is spending less. I know its easier said than done, but its very doable. The trick is to just change some simple money spending habits.
First, start by eating out less. Alot of people do their eating at restaurants nearly everyday, and this is ridiculous. They’d save a ton of money just shopping at the grocery store. If they are that lazy and don’t want to cook then just get a tv dinner. They are usually inexpensive and are quickly prepared.
Secondly, start learning to shop at a thrift store for things first. These places usually have great finds if you have the patients to look around.
Thirdly, try to avoid going out with people who are always shopping and spending their money. We often tend to take up the habits of those who we are around the most. If someone we know is spending all their money all the time, how would we expect to spend less? Thats like excepting an overweight person to eat less while everyone else in the family pigs out around them.
When it comes to buying things on sale I want you to keep in mind that advertisers put things on sale because they want you to spend your money on their product. Only buy the product if you really need/want it. Ask yourself the question: “Is this product worth spending my money on? Will this help improve the quality of my life in some way?”
